The Tracker 5000 (T5000) is a satellite-only unit. There is no cellular service required to use the T5000. It is designed to be used in remote locations and to monitor assets. The T5000 offers a low cost, simple to use solution with the option of locating the unit on demand.
The T5000D offers the global coverage of the 5000 but also incorporates GPRS wireless coverage when available.
